We are very excited to offer a Welsh Springer Spaniel-only Tracking Test as part of our 2019 National Specialty.
The test will be held at the Ottawa Field Trial Grounds in the Southern Unit of the beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest.
The test is tentatively scheduled for 6 TDs and 2 TDXs, subject to the entries and the judges’ discretion for the actual number of tracks offered for each.
Date: Thursday, May 2 (time TBA)
Entry Deadline: TBA
Judges: Becky Johnson and Nan Cochrane.
The site is southeast of the intersection of Highway 67 and Highways CI and C in Dousman, WI and is approximately 23 miles from the show site in Jefferson Fair Park. Allow extra time to drive through the park. For detailed park information including required pass fees, camping, activities and a park map click here.
Just for Fun…
The day before the Tracking Test, Wednesday, May 1, you are invited – whether entered, observing, or laying track – to meet at the Milford Hills Hunt Club Pub for dinner with our hunting cohorts following the Hunt Test. Dinner is casual and at your own expense. An interactive map is available here.
